Running at Lalbagh Fort | A few days ago, I woke up late and missed my usual 6 AM running schedule at Lalbagh Fort. By the time I arrived, the sun was already shining brightly, and my running teammates had finished their runs and were doing some post-run stretching.
Honestly, I felt a little bad about being late. But I’m NOT a man who gives up easily, therefore, I decided to begin my run alone.
The fort running track was almost empty, unlike the usual crowded mornings. Running alone gave me more space to move freely, and I even felt like increasing my pace.
But the scorching heat made it difficult to maintain a steady pace. It made me change my plan and switched to interval running. Finally, I finished my run successfully! 🏃♂️
As a runner working toward bigger goals, I know that not every run will go according to my plan. Sometimes, we need to adjust, challenge ourselves, and keep moving forward.
That day, I learned a simple lesson: you don’t always need a running partner, perfect weather, or the right time to enjoy a run. Sometimes, you just need to start.
Put on your shoes, get out there, and keep moving. Even when you’re running alone, you’re still making progress!💪
